History
Casa C.A.F.I. (Centro de Ayuda a Familias Inmigrantes = Resource Center for Immigrant Families) is a non-profit organization founded in 1989.
Our services are offered to immigrant families from many ethnic and cultural origins.
However, the majority of our clientele comes from the various Latin American communities residing throughout the island of Montreal.
Our Mision
Immigrants face many difficulties at their arrival in Québec. They often are unaware of the social, economic and cultural realities of Québec and feel incompetent while facing the overwhelming bureaucracy that is imbedded within the integration process.
Therefore, Casa C.A.F.I. has given itself the mission to help, to orient and to inform immigrant families during their integration process into Québec society. Casa C.A.F.I. also answers the needs of these families regarding their role as educators within a new social structure.
